Found out about it from a friend. Haven't read into everything about it, but it seems interesting.

Basically, I think the idea is to make a 50,000 word novel or something over the course of November (1st to the 30th). The Breaking News bit at the top center gives some hints, like trying to motivate yourself with awful promises to other folks. It might be a good idea to at least give it a shot. It'd hopefully help me to get to work on my own stuff, too, and all. 50,000 words IS a lot of words.
