I have a question (yo).

When making an album, it gives the option of it either being public or private. As a test, I made the first one private, though something occurred to me recently.

Given how people who aren't members of the board are unable to view user profiles (or at least I think this is true), what really is different about it being either private or public? Unless search engines can lead outsiders to the albums, it doesn't seem quite necessary, and I don't know what 'contacts' refer to in the private description.

I guess to cut it short, what I'm wondering about is whether or not the public/private choices affect those viewers inside the board or those outside the board.

I think that should be it...

log out and see if your album still shows. I'm an admin so everybody's everything shows for me.

It's the ears, right?

Yeah, I can't even view my profile when logged out.

Then it works! YAY!

Actually I forgot about that when I replied. Someone who is a registered user but non-staff needs to try and view the album.

Then all hope is lost, because all the people who still come around are moderators, even SB XP
